Welcome to Ms. Ober's Class!
My name is Gillian Ober, and I am the 5th grade English as a Second Language teacher. I am so excited to be a part of the Park Ave community and work with all of my wonderful students this year. I received my undergraduate degree from Boston University in English and Spanish, and then taught ESL abroad for over 2 years in the countries of Spain and Thailand. Upon my return, I pursued my Masters degree at Monmouth University and received my teaching certification in K-12 Spanish and English as a Second Language education. I look forward to helping my students become bilingual this year and wish all of my students success!

Me llamo Gillian Ober, y soy la maestra de Inglés como Idioma Secundaria en el quinto grado. Estoy muy emocionada ser parte de la comunidad de Park Ave y trabajar con todos mis estudiantes impresionantes este año. Recibí mi diploma de la Universidad de Boston, con concentraciones en inglés y español, y luego enseñé en Tailandia y España. Cuando regresé, recibí mi máster de la Universidad de Monmouth y mi licenciatura de enseñanza en Español y Ingles como Idioma Secundaria.
