Millward, Holly

Good day and thank you for the warm welcome to Park Avenue Elementary school. My name is Holly Millward and I will be an ESL teacher here for the third through fifth grade. I am originally from Avalon, New Jersey where I worked at my parents healthy restaurant in the summer Green Cuisine, in Stone Harbor, NJ. I spent my whole life growing up in Avalon with my Mom, Dad and younger sister until I went to college at Messiah University, in Mechanicsburg, PA near Hershey Chocolate World. I graduated with a Bachelors in Elementary Education and TESOL. My husband, whom I met at college, attended Dental School in Florida, which is why the first four years of my education career after graduating were spent teaching elementary grades and elementary ESL in Sarasota and Destin, FL. I have a passion for anything nature and anything that has to do with being on the water- surfing, skiing, kneeboarding, scuba, boating and much more! I have also been doing gymnastics and cheerleading since a young age and hope to be able to help Coach here! I also enjoy cooking and hanging out with my family and my friends. I enjoy traveling, exploring God‘s creation and learning about all the diversity in the world that he created. Learning new cultures and languages is so fun and fascinating to me!
